Cannabinoids go directly to your lungs where they rapidly enter your bloodstream. Effects are felt immediately and peak within 3-5 minutes. Begin with 1 puff and wait 10-15 minutes before another.

Ingesting oil or edibles send CBD through the digestive tract and eventually on to the liver, where it is broken down before finally reaching the bloodstream. Digestion of cannabinoids means a longer onset (up to two hours) and possibly weaker effects. Begin with half a dose and wait several hours before taking another dose.
